Sue Pennicuik, MLC for Southern Metropolitan Region, called on the government in parliament last night, to release the Victorian Coastal Hazard Guide and the Report of the Coastal Climate Change Advisory Committee.
"The Victorian Coastal Hazard Guide was expected to be completed by the end of 2011 and the report of the Coastal Climate Change Advisory Committee was submitted to the government in December 2010," she said. "That was more than a year ago and coastal communities around Victoria are waiting for these reports," Ms Pennicuik said.

"Many coastal communities in Victoria are at risk from inundation and storm surges and some, such as the City of Port Phillip, have already experienced them," she said.

"I am calling on the government to stop stalling and prioritise the immediate release of both of these reports," Ms Pennicuik concluded.
